The room was filled with packing peanuts, three feet high. Opened, half-full, cardboard boxes lined the walls of the tiny flat. The previous owner of the suite was sitting in the middle of the sea of packing peanuts, her red cheeks stained with tears and her brown eyes glistening. Her short blonde hair was messed-up, giving the impression she just got out of bed. She was jerking wildly as her loud cries exploded from her small body. Eventually, her sobs subsided, and she straightened her skirt and stood up, continuing the heartbreaking task of cleaning out the house where she had loved with her brother until the accident.
